SOLE x Ayọ (FKA Opal) Tometi

Sole - a leading platform and creative agency engaged with connecting communities through media, music, creativity and culture, partnered with photographer Jameela Elfaki for December’s edition of their annual print magazine.

Radiating a sense of regality as the star of this issue is Ayọ (FKA Opal) Tometi - globally recognised human rights advocate, strategist, and writer of Nigerian-American descent.

Having been active in social movements for nearly two decades, Ayo is widely known as a co-founder of Black Lives Matter and Executive Director of the United States first national immigrant rights organisation for people of African descent – the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI).
