Sinem Erkas X Work It, Girl:
Beyoncé Knowles

Paper artist Sinem Erkas has just illustrated her 6th Work It, Girl book.

This time featuring Queen Bey, her passion for activism and the key moments that changed her life.

Sinem says “I made this whilst heavily pregnant in the first lockdown and Beyoncé was great fun to work on! Visually she is very inspiring to illustrate with her costumes and performances. I’m very excited to see her join the ‘Work It, Girl’ family which also includes Mae Jemison, JK Rowling, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degeneres. The pandemic caused the book to be delayed by a year, but I’m so happy that it’s finally being released into the world!”

Work it, Girl is an empowering series of biographies aimed at 7-12 year olds. They feature modern women in the world of work and provide insightful inspiration to help ambitious children lay the foundations for their own successful careers.
